Robert is a that rare individual who completely understands how marketing drives sales revenue. His end to end knowledge of how engagement really works is next level good and produces tangible results. He’s collaborative and keeps an open mind when problem solving. As an added bonus, he always knows where to get good coffee, a valuable trait and his low key super power.
I worked with Robert for several years at Moravia/RWS and really enjoyed working together. Robert is organized, pragmatic and unafraid to tackle challenges with smart solutions that also have long-term benefits. I appreciated that I felt comfortable being honest and candid with Robert about issues and their solutions and that he was an action-oriented leader who believed in collaborating with his team on next steps and a breakdown of the plan to execute. He believes in the best approach for the job, in investing in the tools necessary to make his team more efficient and organized, and in measuring tangible results.
Robert has been one of the most influential managers in my career to date. There has been no other leader that has connected to his team in a way that brings positive and inspirational growth both corporately and personally, which does not lose integrity, openness, honestly, or professionalism especially while shuttling his team through integrations, changes, and unchartered waters.
Robert’s ability to see the whole picture in all its colors and variations is truly unique. His passion for understanding, I mean really truly understanding and recognizing the needs of a broad scope is incredible. As is his way of taking complexity and explaining it in the simplest form for all to understand. Robert’s sheer passion for understandings does not stop with him, it cascades over to his team. I do not think a single person on his teams over the years has not caught the seek-to-understand bug, so to speak. I think this has made us all driven to calmly and rationally understand the reasons of need or want.

Working with Robert, whether directly or indirectly, was a pleasure and privilege for me. He has shown his excellent people management skills from the start and was always willing to help anytime I had a difficulty to overcome. Even just watching and listening to him has taught me a lot.
Robert also has a strong understanding of apps and technology, and he is continuously looking for new ways to apply them to make work more efficient for everyone.

Robert has numerous remarkable skills, but the one that has always impressed me most is his ability to get quickly oriented in complex problems even if they fall outside his own area of expertise. I was lucky to work with Robert for two years at RWS. I was impressed from the start by his down-to-earth approach, his professionalism, but above all by the way he cares about what he does and the people he works with. Robert is kind, honest and encouraging. He is always willing to share his extensive knowledge to empower others. I truly believe that he is the team leader who makes a difference in the company, and the mentor that any young newcomer would want to know. What I admire most about Robert is his ability to see the big picture. You can trust and rely on him because you know he has the vision. Robert Jelenic is one of the most creative, strategic marketing thinkers I’ve ever met. At Moravia (which became RWS Moravia and is now RWS) I remember discussing big-picture questions with him about the prime directive / core value proposition of our business, and then seeing these ideas reinforced in campaigns, and via meaningful thought leadership. I can safely say that some of the most interesting, thought-provoking professional conversations I’ve ever had were with Robert.
